HUGH LAURIE

Many of you probably know Hugh Laurie is the main character of the popular TV series 'House'. Actually the actor, musician, and writer is also a real record breaker. Of course, the British actor gained this status. Thanks to his incredible acting and Dr. House's extreme popularity. According to official data over 82 million people in 66 countries watched this show. Hugh Laurie once became the most-watched leading man on TV, knocking off David Hasselhoff famous for his roles in Baywatch and Knight Rider. Interestingly Laurie is also considered the highest-paid actor on television. He gets paid about $400,000 for one episode of Dr. House. Just imagine this amount of money. It's no wonder that Hugh worked so hard on the set and there was a lot of fuss about the show itself. House won two Emmy Awards for best screenplay and best direction and Hugh Laurie won two Golden Globes for his acting.

The man who gave us Mickey Mouse, Pinocchio, and Bambi is actually a double Oscar record holder in the history of The Oscars. American cartoonist Walt Disney had the biggest number of nominations 59. But this isn't the only incredible fact about him. Disney is the record holder for another reason. He won 26 Oscar statuettes. Yes, the creator of our favorite cartoons won a lot of awards.

The Iron Man movie star also found a place in the Guinness Book of Records without even having to do anything. Robert simply arrived to China where he received a birthday card, but it wasn't some kind of cardboard piece with kitties. It was a whole poster signed by 5339 fans. According to Robert the fans love and their number of calls pleasantly shocked him. As a result the Hollywood act to receive not only this card but also a special certificate confirming that this gift set a new world record. There was actually a previous record for the number of signatures on a birthday card in 2012. The relatives of Churchill received a card with 4347 signatures.

OZZY OSBOURNE

In 2010 the legendary Ozzy Osbourne set a record. The record was the longest and loudest crowd scream. As you probably already guessed it wasn't Ozzy shouting their 52,000 people who at the moment run the stadium during the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game. Sports fans started shouting at the command of Black Sabbath singer and most likely felt like they were at the coolest concert every. By the way Ozzy had another event that made him a record holder in 2013. The musician recorded a cover version of the song changes in Joette with his daughter Kelly. This new verson of the classic song first released in one of  Black Sabbath's albums hit the first place in the UK charts, becoming the first number one in Ozzy Osbourne's career. After this he entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the performer with the largest interval between his first appearance in the charts and his first number one.

ELIZABETH TAYLOR

Despite the fact that the beautiful and talented actress Elizabeth Taylor has already left our world. She also set one record which we would like to share with you. This gorgeous woman was the absolute champion among world celebrities in the number of marriages. Yes, her guests had to shell out some money choosing gifts for her wedding for the eight time. And all because the world famous star believed that the best way to avoid depression after divorce was to get married again and it seems this method was very effective for her. It all started with the heir to the Hilton Hotel chain their marriage lasted only nine months. Then can act as Michael Wilding, then Richard Burton twice and then producer Michael Todd, politician John Warner and ever trucker Larry Fortensky. Unfortunately Elizabeth Taylor passed away at the age of 79 and at that moment she was wanted to marry this would have been the 9th marriage of Taylor. Which would have meant another wedding record.

But let's forget about skepticism for a second just think about it. The universe of Harry Potter became more popular than Romeo and Juliet. Could any of us have imagined something like this 15 years ago. Her first record were set in 2005 when one of her albums became the best selling album in the US. Which of course is very cool and pleasant but quite common. The second record also turned out to be musical and belongs to the song 'La Tortura'. It's the best selling single in Spanish. Shakira's third record was unexpectedly connected with likes. Yes oddly enough the Colombian singer became the first person in the world to gather a 100 million likes on Facebook.

DWAYNE JOHNSON

What do you think what kind of a record can set a person known as the Rock. Well surely something related to push-ups, moving cars with his teeth or in extreme cases to a spectacular leg split between skyscrapers. But no, Dwayne Johnson is in the Guinness Book of Records thanks to his selfies. We're not joking because this American actor managed to make a 105 selfies in three minutes. We don't know how fast Dwayne press the button of his smart phone. However according to Today Magazine this amazing record is real. By the way Johnson generally likes to take pictures of his own precious self during various events. Despite the number of paparazzi around why would anyone need fashion photographers when you can just get your smartphone out form your pocket and click.
